Step by Step
How to Book Crematorium Online in Bangalore — 6 Simple Steps with Anthyesti
From your first call to ash collection and post-cremation support, our booking process is built to be fast, simple, and completely guided. Whether you choose a wood crematorium in Bangalore or prefer electric cremation in Bangalore, you call once — a trained coordinator takes charge of everything from that moment.

Step 1 — Call Our 24/7 Helpline, Any Hour
Call or WhatsApp +91-98833-18181. A trained coordinator answers within 2–5 minutes — nights, weekends, and public holidays included. Whatever the hour, there is no IVR, no queue. A real person answers and begins coordinating immediately.

Step 2 — Share Your Requirements & Location
Tell us your location in Bangalore, the religion and community of the deceased, and the type of cremation required — wood cremation, electric cremation in Bangalore, or a complete ritual package. We record every detail carefully; you will never be asked to repeat yourself.

Step 3 — Hearse Van Dispatched to You Within Minutes
A decorated hearse van is dispatched immediately to your home, hospital, or mortuary. Typical arrival anywhere in Bangalore is 30 to 60 minutes. Simultaneously, we begin the process to book crematorium online in Bangalore and arrange your slot. If cremation must be delayed, a freezer box is arranged in the same call.

Step 4 — Crematorium in Bangalore Booked, Pandit & Rituals Arranged
We book your slot at the right cremation ground — whether a wood crematorium in Bangalore or an electric cremation facility — and arrange the qualified pandit or clergy. All ritual samagri is procured and the ceremony follows your family’s tradition exactly.

Step 5 — Documentation Completed on Your Behalf
We assist your family in obtaining the death certificate from the BBMP or municipal authority and the cremation certificate from the crematorium in Bangalore. For inter-city body transport, all NOC and related paperwork are part of the same coordinated process.

Step 6 — Ash Collection, Urn & Full Post-Cremation Support
After cremation, ashes are carefully collected and placed in an engraved urn. We provide guidance on Asthi Visarjan at the Ganga or local rivers, and remain fully available for any follow-up support your family needs.

Know Your Nearest Ground
A Closer Look at Bangalore's BBMP Crematoriums
Every BBMP crematorium in Bangalore operates a little differently — some offer only electric cremation, others retain a dedicated wood pyre area, and each serves a different part of the city. Knowing these details in advance helps families choose the right ground and avoid confusion at the gate. Here is what we know about the facilities we coordinate with most often.
Banashankari Crematorium
South Bangalore · Wood & Electric
Located behind Banashankari Bus Stand, near the Banashankari Metro Station. One of South Bangalore’s busiest BBMP facilities, offering both wood pyre and electric cremation. Electric cremation here typically completes within 50–60 minutes.
Harishchandra Ghat
Rajajinagar · Electric Only
Chamarajpet Crematorium
Central-South Bangalore · Wood Pyre
Wilson Garden Crematorium
Located at Kengal Hanumanthaiah Circle on Hosur Main Road, with a spacious cremation yard and dedicated waiting area. Offers both electric (50–60 minutes) and traditional wood pyre cremation for South-Central Bangalore families.
Hebbal Crematorium
North Bangalore · Primary Facility
Mysore Road Crematorium
West Bangalore · Electric
Kudlu Crematorium
Electronic City & HSR · Electric
Serves the South-East IT corridor — Electronic City, HSR Layout, and Sarjapur Road. The closest BBMP option for families living and working in this fast-growing part of Bangalore.
Panathur Crematorium
Whitefield & ORR · Electric
Serves East Bangalore’s IT corridor, including Whitefield, Marathahalli, and the Outer Ring Road belt. A key facility for families in this rapidly developed part of the city.
Peenya & Summanahalli
North-West Bangalore · Electric
Kengeri Crematorium
West Bangalore · Electric
Medi Agrahara & Kallahalli
North & East Bangalore · Electric
Note: BBMP crematoriums generally operate from 8 AM to 5 PM and require mandatory online slot booking — walk-ins are often turned away. None of these facilities provide a pandit or ritual samagri on-site, which is exactly where Anthyesti steps in. We confirm your slot, arrange the right pandit for your tradition, and bring everything else needed so you are not left arranging it at the gate.
A Guide From Our Coordinators
What to Do in the First Hour After a Loss
Most families have never had to arrange a cremation before, and the first hour is often the most disorienting. Based on what we have seen across thousands of calls, here is the order in which things genuinely need to happen — not a checklist copied from a government website, but the practical sequence our coordinators walk families through every single day.

If death occurs at home, do not move the body yet
A doctor must first confirm and document the cause of death (Form 4 or 4A). If the death was unexpected or unnatural, the police must be informed before the body can be moved — moving it first can complicate the death certificate later. If the death occurred in hospital, the hospital handles this documentation directly.

Call for transport before deciding on the cremation ground
Many families try to finalise every detail before calling anyone — this only delays things. A hearse van can be on its way while you are still deciding between wood and electric cremation, or which ground is closest. The two can happen in parallel.

Keep the Aadhaar card and any hospital paperwork together
Most delays at the crematorium gate happen because a single document is missing. Gather the deceased's Aadhaar card, the hospital's death summary or doctor's certificate, and a photo ID of the next of kin in one place early — this alone prevents most of the back-and-forth families experience.

Decide on rituals only once, not at every step
Tell your coordinator your family's tradition once — North Indian, South Indian, Brahmin, Lingayat, Vokkaliga, or otherwise — and let that single conversation guide the pandit, the samagri, and the ceremony. Re-explaining preferences at every stage adds unnecessary strain during an already heavy day.

Let one person handle logistics, not the whole family
In our experience, families cope better when one relative or our coordinator manages calls, paperwork, and timing — while everyone else is free to simply be present with each other. This is, in many ways, the entire reason Anthyesti exists.

For booking, you typically need the following: the hospital death summary or doctor’s cause-of-death letter, Aadhaar card of the deceased, residential address proof, and government ID of the next of kin. For slot booking at the cremation grounds in Bangalore, a pre-booked slot confirmation (which Anthyesti arranges on your behalf) and a government-issued death certificate are required. For inter-city transport, an NOC is required; for international repatriation, an embalming certificate and customs clearance documents. Anthyesti coordinates all of this for you — your family will never face a government office or hospital counter alone.

What Families Say About Anthyesti
Very good service provided by Anthyesti. Very caring and professional approach at a time when the family is distressed. They also provided contacts for services not related to their line of activities...like removal of pacemaker etc. Very satisfied with them. Specially Ashish, the Manager, has been a source of strength during our bereavement. God Bless them all.

Very professional service, with prompt and polite staff. However, I found the cost for flowers to be put on the hearse to be quite exhorbitant, and therefore arranged for that myself. Also, the calls to post review of services should ideally be made at a later time, not when the family is grieving. On the whole, a mostly satisfactory experience.
Anthyesti did a wonderful job in transporting the mortal remains of my late brother-in-law from abroad to Gobindpur. We were initially expecting the body and Bhubaneswar airport but also wanted support till a remote location in Orissa and they finished the last mile without any hassles. God bless the whole team including Abhishek and the Delhi team
